Chassahowitzka River Campground offers both full hookup RV sites and primitive tent camping in separate areas. The RV park features 30 or 50 amp electrical service, sewer connections, water spigots, fire rings, and picnic tables at each site, with WiFi throughout and a dump station near the entrance. The tent camping area is located further west and features fire rings and picnic tables at each site, with 6 communal water spigots but no electricity. Both areas are partially shaded with mature oaks, cedars, pines, and palms. The campground is located a short walk from the Chassahowitzka River, known as the "River of Hanging Pumpkins" in Seminole language, offering access to spectacular scenery, wildlife, and paddling opportunities. Nearby attractions include the Chassahowitzka National Wildlife Refuge and Weeki Wachee Springs State Park.
