Chalk Banks is one of two access points to Lumber River State Park in North Carolina. The campground offers 14 tent sites with gravel pads, picnic tables, fire pits, and lantern posts. Facilities include pit toilets and water spigots. The site features a 3-mile hiking trail and river access with paddle-in camping options available. Pets are allowed on leash. Reservations are required.
