Val Chester Outdoor Center offers 42 serviced campsites and wilderness camping options. Located on the Nicolet River in Chesterville at the foot of the Appalachians, it provides activities including fishing in a stocked pond and river, over 6 km of hiking trails, beach access, swimming, mini-farm visits, soccer, volleyball, and basketball. Winter activities include snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, skating, tobogganing, ice fishing, and snowmobiling. Amenities include free showers, coffee, canteen, convenience store, and BBQ areas.
