Cedars Campground is a small, primitive camping area with five developed sites nestled along the North Fork of the Clearwater River and Long Creek in Idaho's Nez Perce-Clearwater National Forests. Located at 3,800 feet elevation, this quiet campground offers a peaceful riverside setting surrounded by forest. The campground provides access to a loop of the Idaho Centennial Trail that passes directly by the sites, making it a convenient base for hikers and equestrians exploring the North Fork Clearwater corridor. Anglers will find abundant trout fishing opportunities in both the North Fork of the Clearwater River and Long Creek. Additional Info: No potable water available. Vault toilets on-site. Open year-round on first-come, first-served basis. Winter access may be limited due to snow.
