Cedar Lake Equestrian Camp is one of the largest equestrian campgrounds in the Southern Region, located in Ouachita National Forest near Hodgen, Oklahoma. It offers a variety of sites including equestrian with horse corrals, family sites, and group sites. Many sites have electric and water hookups, picnic tables, grills, campfire rings, flush toilets, warm showers, and drinking water. Picnic pavilions are on-site. Popular for access to over 70 miles of Winding Stair Mountain Equestrian Trails, hiking around Cedar Lake, swimming, boating, and fishing. Boat ramp and fishing piers available. Reservations required for equestrian sites; horses need current Coggins test. Additional Info: Sites include Shady Lane (electric/water), Sandy Beach (electric/water), North Shore (basic with community water). Equestrian loops: HCLE and HCMR.
