About this site
Cat's Lair is a designated backcountry campsite in Rocky Mountain National Park, located south of the East Inlet Trail in an area of granite outcroppings in a bend of East Inlet Creek. A wood sign indicates the path to the site. Approximately 4 miles from East Inlet trailhead near Grand Lake, elevation around 9200 feet. Requires backcountry permit and bear canister. EMERGENCIES: In case of emergency, call Park Dispatch at (970) 586-1203 or 911.
