About this site
This small site offers space for just one camping party, but additional day users should have room to park and launch a car top boat. One table, fire ring and outhouse are provided. This small lake offers a pleasant place for paddling, and anglers may be treated to some fairly productive fishing for wild rainbow trout. Additional Info: Walk-in campsites located around the lake. No reservations—first come, first served. Campsites are not accessible by vehicle; gear must be walked in from the parking lot with wheelbarrows available. Mandatory food caches are provided due to frequent bear activity. The lake is stocked with rainbow trout twice annually. Popular hiking and mountain biking trails nearby include the Lake Loop, Cheshire Cat, and Cheshire Kitten trails.
