Carson-Pegasus Campground
About this site
Carson-Pegasus Campground is located in Carson-Pegasus Provincial Park, approximately 23 km north of Whitecourt in central Alberta. This large campground has almost 200 sites, both with and without power. There are lakeside, RV, and tent-only sites, with trees offering privacy, a playground and beach close by. The campground is nestled beside McLeod Lake in the boreal forest. Enjoy fishing, swimming, hiking, and bird watching, or snowshoeing and ice fishing in winter. The park features the province's only lakeside sea-wall for fishing, and a variety of hiking and biking trails.
