Carrol Lake Campground

Carrol Lake Campground is located in the Northern Highland-American Legion State Forest on the south shore of Carrol Lake, a 352-acre lake in Oneida County, Wisconsin. The campground has 19 non-electric campsites (sites 101-119), with 12 sites available for tent and RV/trailer camping (back-in only, length varies) and 7 walk-in tent-only sites. Each site includes a tent area, parking spur, picnic table, and fire ring. Amenities include a swimming beach, hand pump drinking water, vault toilets, ADA-accessible fishing pier, boat launch, and picnic area. The lake is known for good fishing for panfish, bass, northern pike, and walleye. Canoeing, kayaking, and motorized boating are available. The campground is open April 1 through December 1 (weather permitting). Located 3 miles east of Minocqua-Woodruff and 20 miles west of Eagle River.
