Carrieville State Forest Campground
About this site
Rustic state forest campground with 31 sites for tent and small trailer use along the Little Manistee River. Features vault toilets, potable water from hand pump well, fire rings, and picnic tables. Sites available first-come, first-served with no reservations. Access to ORV trails and trout fishing. Most sites accommodate up to 30-foot vehicles; one site up to 40 feet. Open year-round but not plowed in winter. Overnight fee $20 for most sites. Maximum 15-day stay, one unit and six people per site. Additional Info: Managed by Michigan DNR. Popular with ORV users via Little Manistee Trail. River access for fishing on east side.
