Carr Creek State Park Campground is one of the best campgrounds in southeastern Kentucky, located on the shores of 750-acre Carr Fork Lake. The park features the longest sand beach in the Kentucky State Parks system, a full-service marina with boat rentals and slips, boating, fishing for bass, crappie and walleye, bird watching, hiking, playground, horseshoe pits, and a market. The campground has 39 sites with water and electric hookups, picnic tables, fire rings, clean showers, restrooms, laundry, and a dump station. It is pet-friendly and reservable year-round, though primarily open March to November. Additional Info: Sites accommodate tents and RVs up to 60 feet. Max 8 occupants per site (4 adults included in base rate, extra adults $5/night). Max 2 units per site (1 camper + 1 tent or 2 tents). Golf cart permits available ($25/week or $100/year).
