Anacapa Loop (sites 101-127 & group sites) at Carpinteria State Beach is located near the coastline, offering flat terrain with sandy beaches. The area experiences temperatures ranging from 50°F to 75°F, depending on the season. Nearby attractions include the Carpinteria Bluffs Nature Preserve and the Santa Barbara Zoo. The campground is situated 12 miles south of Santa Barbara and features a mile of pristine beach for swimming, surf fishing, and tidepool exploring. Each campsite has a fire ring and picnic table. Anacapa Loop accepts tents, motorhomes, and trailers with no hookups. The loop includes three group camping sites: Bobcat (trailer/RV, 25 people max), Fox (standard, 25 people max), and Raccoon (40 people max). Hike and bike camping areas are available. Reservations can be made through ReserveCalifornia.com or by calling 1-800-444-7275 up to six months in advance.
