Carl Spindler Campground is a riverside campground and marina located on the Illinois River in East Peoria, Illinois, part of the 347.5-acre Fondulac Park. The campground features 55 paved sites with 50-amp electric service and various combinations of water and sewer hookups, plus 26 primitive sites with electricity. Amenities include fire rings, shower facilities, laundry, picnic tables, and shelter. The campground is open from March 10th to December 1st and offers canoe and kayak rentals. Dogs are allowed on leash. The site is known for its river views and access, and serves as a birding hotspot and northern trailhead for Illinois River paddling.
