Carbon River Camp is a backcountry backpacking site located approximately 2.9 miles from the Ipsut Creek trailhead along the Wonderland Trail in Mount Rainier National Park. It offers a quiet camping experience amid dense forests and riverbanks near the Carbon River and Carbon Glacier. Wilderness permits are required for overnight stays. No campfires permitted. No pets on trails. Additional Info: Access is by hiking only via the Carbon River Road trail (vehicle road closed beyond park boundary). Part of the Northern Loop and Wonderland Trail network.
