Captains Point Boat-In Campground is a remote, boat-access-only facility with 3 primitive campsites located on the west side of Trinity Lake's main arm in Shasta-Trinity National Forest. Accessible only by boat, campers must transport all gear across the water. There is a vault toilet but no piped water, hookups, showers, or potable water—bring or treat your own supplies. First-come, first-served, free, year-round (seasonal water levels may affect access). Pets allowed. Ideal for experienced, self-sufficient boaters seeking seclusion.
