Dispersed camping area on BLM land near Torrey, Utah, on the west side of Capitol Reef National Park. This is a primitive, free camping spot with no amenities such as picnic tables or trash service. Campers must pack in and pack out all supplies and waste. The area offers rugged terrain with rock formations and views of Capitol Reef National Park. Nearby hiking trails provide access into the heart of the park. High-clearance or 4x4 vehicles may be recommended depending on road conditions. A permit may be required; contact the Dixie/Fishlake Ranger Office at (435) 836-2811 for current regulations and conditions.
