Cape Alava Quota Camping Area

Cape Alava is the northernmost campsite on the Ozette Triangle in Olympic National Park, located 3.4 miles from the Ozette Ranger Station via boardwalk trail through coastal forest. It offers multiple tent sites in the trees with ocean views, pit toilets at both ends of the camping area, and a creek water source near a log bridge (treat water). Camping is in designated quota sites only; permits required year-round via Recreation.gov. Bear canisters are required. Campfires may be restricted; use only driftwood where permitted. Additional Info: - Groups limited to 12 people; associated groups must camp 1 mile apart. - First-come, first-served within permit quota; no individual site assignment. - Westernmost point in the Lower 48 accessible via nearby spit to Tskawahyah Island.
