Canyon View Group Campground

Canyon View Group Campground is a group-only campground in Kings Canyon National Park on the floor of the canyon along the South Fork of the Kings River, 0.25 miles from Cedar Grove Village. It offers excellent views of Kings Canyon's granite cliffs and has 16 group sites (4 large, 12 mid-sized) with picnic tables, fire rings, and bear food storage boxes at each site. All sites are tent only—no RVs or trailers. The campground has flush toilets and drinking water. There is a small store, snack bar, hotel, showers, and laundry at Cedar Grove Village. Reservations required; typically open May through October. Additional Info: The campground road is paved and relatively level. Access routes to parking and restrooms are wide, slightly-sloped gravel paths.
