There was one hike-in site about 1/4 mile from the parking lot that I did a group camp at that was super secluded and beautiful, overlooking Sunset Point with water access. I wish I remembered the site number, but it’s out there at the tip of the jut-out. Beautiful wildflowers out here in May Additional Info: Canyon of the Eagles is a 940-acre nature-based resort on the northeast side of Lake Buchanan near Burnet, Texas. The park features hiking trails, lake access, and camping options including drive-in and hike-in sites. Entrance fees are $5 for adults, free for children 12 and younger, and $2 for seniors, military, and disabled visitors. The park is open daily from sunrise to sunset.
