Canal Run is a platform campsite located on the Orange Trail in the middle-central part of Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge. The platform is half over the water with access to land, surrounded by pines, cypress, and loblolly bays dripping with Spanish moss. It is approximately 10 miles from Suwannee Canal Recreation Area and 7 miles from Stephen C. Foster State Park. Campfires are permitted in the provided fire ring. Access is by canoe or kayak; overnight camping permit required via recreation.gov.
