Campton Campground
About this site
Campton Campground is a large facility with 55 sites near the southern edge of White Mountain National Forest in New Hampshire. The campground offers a mix of tent and RV sites, all surrounded by towering pine trees and northern hardwoods that provide shade. Each site comes with a picnic table and a fire pit. Facilities include clean restrooms, drinking water, and coin-operated hot showers. Sites 33-58 are near the flush toilets. The 30-acre Campton Pond and Mad River are close by. The campground is convenient to U.S. Highway 93 and is approximately two hours from Boston. It is popular with families due to nearby kid-friendly activities such as hiking and nature programs.
