About this site
Backcountry campsite located beside Hesse Creek in Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The site features nice open flat tent sites with a creek running directly beside it. Capacity is 8 people with a 3-night maximum stay. One fire ring and one set of bear cables are present. Water is available from Hesse Creek. The site is situated just off the Beard Cane Trail, approximately 3.7 miles from the intersection with Cooper Road Trail and 0.6 miles from the intersection with Ace Gap Trail.
