Camping L'Escale is an established campground located in the Lower Laurentians, 30 minutes from Montreal, welcoming vacationers since 1964. Nestled along the shores of Lake of Two Mountains, the campground features 227 campsites and 4 ready-to-camp units. The facility offers over 200 sites with 30-amp electrical service and patios, a waterfront section with a beach classified 'A' by the Ministry of the Environment, and a private lake with sandy beach and semi-private docks for waterfront sites. Amenities include a restaurant, snack bar, community hall, laundry, boat rental, launching ramp, and recreational facilities such as kayaking, fishing, and a children's playground. The campground is open April 20 to October 20 and is centrally located with access to nearby services including convenience stores, supermarkets, restaurants, gas stations, banks, and marinas. Nearby attractions include a 20 km bike path, golf, cinema, drive-in, flea market, orchards, and water park.
