Camping de la Rivière Matane is located approximately 2 km from downtown Matane, situated along the Matane River under forest cover. The campground offers 118-120 spacious sites arranged for privacy, with direct access to the Matane River and a swimming beach. The site features mixed forest habitat with coniferous and deciduous trees, and includes a marsh area within the campground. Accessible via Route 195 (Passerelle René-Lavoie) or Chemin de la Balade. Managed by the Corporation de gestion récréotouristique de Matane, a non-profit organization. Seasonal operation from June to September.
