Camp Royaneh is a Boy Scouts of America camp owned and operated by the Golden Gate Area Council, located 2.5 miles south of Cazadero, CA on 345 acres of private scout property nestled in the redwoods. It features 14 permanent campsites with tent platforms and canvas tents or open air cabins, each equipped with a central fire ring, bulletin board, flag pole, latrine, handwashing stations, and access to potable water. Campsites include Buddy Point (20 campers), Rotary Rancho (22), Bear Gulch (24), Tree Haven (24), Murphy's Gulch (22-26), Rifle Camp (26), Lions Den (24-26), Kiwanis Grove (26-30), Scanlon Ridge (22-34), Fricot Meadow (36), Plainsmen Village (48), Foresters Village (40-48), Frontiersman Village (50-58), and Pioneer (54-72). Campfires permitted in fire pits with ranger permission. Activities include hiking, backpacking, horseback riding, rock climbing, swimming in an Olympic-size pool, archery, BB guns, rifle/shotgun ranges, and crafts.
