About this site
Camp OutBack has 25 tent campsites under a canopy of hardwoods and white pines. The campground borders the George Washington National Forest and steps away from the Outfitters. Spend your day either paddling the beautiful Shenandoah River, hiking on the mountain trails, fishing or swimming at nearby river access points. Each Site includes - Picnic Table - Fire Ring - Charcoal Grill - Up to 10 Campers & 5 Tents - Shared bathroom facility with hot water showers. Firewood, ice and some other camping supplies are for sale in the Outfitter store. Please note that there is no electric at sites and no dump facilities- we are not set up for RVs.
