Camp Linley
About this site
Camp Linley is a wilderness campsite servicing Scouting, Guiding, and other community organizations in the Lower Mainland. It is a 10 hectare site, located south of Cultus Lake, on Frost Road at Watt Creek, approximately 22 km South from the Sardis/Chilliwack exit on the Trans-Canada Highway. There is a large A-frame shelter, 5 additional unheated cabins, one large cook house / activity building, a large open field and group campfire area, and several wilderness campsites. There is no electricity; groups may supply their own generator for lights and power. There is no running water, but there is a scoutcraft-style bucket system above the stainless steel kitchen sinks. There is a wood burning stove inside the main lodge, but be well prepared for cold as it does not cast enough heat to heat the space. Amenities include tent sites, enclosed cabins without beds, bedding, heat, or running water, mobile phone coverage, permanent outdoor pit toilets (wheelchair accessible), onsite parking, chairs and tables in the hall. No showers, drinking water, indoor washrooms, picnic tables, cooking shelters, appliances in cabins, onsite store, or garbage service (pack-in pack-out). Open wood fires only permitted in the single communal fire pit.
