Camp Huaco Springs is one of the largest and most beautiful campground facilities on the Guadalupe River. Located at the First Crossing on River Road in New Braunfels, Texas, this 30-acre property features over a mile of riverfront sites. The campground offers primitive tent camping (first-come, first-served), electric tent sites (reservable), 75 full hook-up RV sites, and cabins. Amenities include showers, toilets, picnic tables, and ground fires are allowed (unless burn ban in effect). The property is nestled in the Texas Hill Country between San Antonio and Austin, approximately 3 miles from historic Gruene, Texas. Additional Info: Primitive camping area runs along the river from Huaco Falls to Slumber Falls. Forty-eight electric tent sites are located on the waterfront in the northern section. RV sites include 30 amp, 50 amp, and 110 amp service. Pets are not permitted in the campground. Check-in is 3:00 PM, check-out is noon.
