Camp Hatteras RV Resort & Campground is an oceanfront and soundfront camping resort located in Rodanthe, NC at milepost 40.5 on NC Highway 12. The family-owned facility, established in 1991, sits on 50 acres and is the only campground on the Outer Banks with both ocean and sound access. The resort features over 400 sites with concrete pads and full hookups, as well as tent camping and park model units. Amenities include three pools (one indoor heated, two outdoor seasonal), Jacuzzi, miniature golf, tennis courts, pickleball courts, basketball court, shuffleboard, cornhole, game room, dog park, fishing ponds, playground, clubhouse with camp store and arcade, conference center, watersports center with jet ski rentals, oceanside picnic pavilion, laundry facilities, rental bikes, cable TV, and WiFi. The property provides 1,000 feet of oceanfront beach access with dune crossovers and sound access.
