Camp Glen Wendel is one of four hike-in backcountry campsites in Yellow River State Forest. Located in an open meadow on a north-facing ridge slope about 1 mile from self-registration at HQ via White Pine Trail, it offers unobstructed sky views ideal for stargazing, two fire rings, space for large groups, and a small stagnant pond. Sites feature fire rings and benches amid coniferous trees; no showers or drinking water available.
