Camp David Jr.
About this site
Camp David Jr. is the oldest county park in Washington state, located on 8.75 acres of Lake Crescent waterfront property on the north shore of the lake. Originally a health spa in the early 1900s, the camp has been maintained as an outdoor recreation facility since 1935. The grounds feature a main lodge with historical elk horn chandeliers and paintings, eight sleeping cabins (rustic wooden structures with bunk beds and electricity), a beach cabin with inside bathroom, a staff duplex, two accessible group restrooms, a swimming area, fishing dock, and grass play field. Cabins are equipped with bunk beds and thin foam mattresses; guests should bring additional bedding or sleeping pads. The facility is available for youth groups, adult retreats, educational camps, family reunions, and other group events. Boating, swimming, and wakeboarding are available from the dock.
