About this site

This site is okay, but not in my Top 3 of LCRA sites if you want water access. The sites are pretty, up on a hill overlooking the water, but most are a little too exposed to one another except Site 1. If you want water access, you need to go down to the boat ramp, which is quite narrow. It’s good if you want to do some kayaking, but if you’re just playing fetch with your dog or something, you may prefer a different LCRA site with a wider section of the Colorado river. When I saw the sites, I pivoted to Shaffer Bend for better water access. Additional Info: Camp Creek Park is located on the serene north shore of Lake Travis in Marble Falls, TX. The park features 9 standard campsites starting at $25 and 6 deluxe campsites with wooden decks starting at $49. Amenities include picnic tables, grills, fire rings, and nonflushing restrooms. The park is pet-friendly. Entrance fees are $5 for adults, free for children 12 and younger, and $2 for seniors, military, and disabled visitors. The boat ramp at this park is currently closed.
