Camp Assiniboia
About this site
Camp Assiniboia is one of two Camps with Meaning sites, tucked along the Assiniboine River. In winter, the camp is open for retreats, family gatherings and school groups. In May through August, Camps with Meaning runs summer programming for kids, pre-teens and adults with disabilities. Our priority is ensuring every camp knows they are seen and loved by God. Additional Info: Nestled in mature river bottom forests and meadows on the banks of the Assiniboine River, 16 km southwest of Winnipeg. Features 6 km of trails for hiking, walking, skiing, or snowshoeing. Operates as a year-round retreat centre by Camps with Meaning, the camping ministry of Mennonite Church Manitoba.
