The forest is temporarily closed for the 2023 season due to storm damage repairs, with day use permitted from sunrise to sunset. Features include drive-in, walk-in, and boat-in access, tent sites, ADA access, phone service, toilets, pets allowed, and fires. Cell service is good for major carriers.
