Additional Info: The Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) constructed a camp near the town of Callao, north of Great Basin Park. From their base of operations in the camp, CCC workers constructed a road over Sand Pass, erosion terraces, campgrounds, fences, and reservoirs.
