Caldwell Fields Group Camping Area

Caldwell Fields Group Campground consists of two large, open grassy fields, George and Milton, located in a narrow valley flanked by Jefferson National Forest lands and adjacent to Craig Creek. Each field can be reserved separately or together, accommodating groups of up to 50 people and 20 vehicles per field. Craig Creek is stocked with trout and provides fishing opportunities. The campground offers rustic camping with few amenities including vault toilets and picnic tables. Access is via unpaved SR 621 with a locked gate requiring a code from the ranger district. Additional Info: Open April to early November. No potable water, hookups, showers, dump station, or trash service. Pets allowed. Fires allowed. Reservable via Recreation.gov.
