Cabresto Lake Campground
About this site
Surrounded by high peaks, this small campground of 9 sites at 9500 feet overlooks the 15-acre Cabresto Lake from a level ridge at the head of a 4 mile trail to Heart Lake. One of the few places in NM for catching brook trout Additional Info: This campground features four semi-dispersed sites according to the official USFS page. Vault toilets are available. The access road is rough and requires high-clearance vehicles. Non-motorized boating is permitted on the lake. Trailhead for Lake Fork Trail into Latir Peak Wilderness.
