Byers Lake Campground

Byers Lake Campground is a public campground located in Denali State Park near Trapper Creek, Alaska, at Milepost 147 on the Parks Highway. The campground features approximately 76-100 campsites with picnic tables and fire rings, accommodating tent camping, RV camping, and group sites. Three public-use cabins are also available. The campground sits on the shores of Byers Lake and provides access to the 22-mile K'esugi Ridge Trail. Amenities include vault toilets, a well for water, and a dump station. The lake offers opportunities for fishing, swimming, paddling, and kayak/canoe rentals. Sites are spacious and allow for privacy. Showers are not available. Water should be treated or boiled before drinking.
