Bush Mountain Wilderness Campground is a primitive backcountry camping area in Guadalupe Mountains National Park, accessible only by foot via the Tejas and Bush Mountain Trails, 6.2 miles from Pine Springs Trailhead. It features five designated tent-only campsites defined by tent pads, offering exceptional vistas and western sunsets. A Wilderness Use Permit is required, with campsites semi-protected from high winds but trails exposed during windy conditions. Additional Info: All wilderness campgrounds require a $6 reservation fee plus $6 per-person-per-night recreation fee. Camp only on tent pads; campfires prohibited.
