Burntstick Lake Campground
About this site
Burnstick Lake Campground is where you'll find tranquility, mountain views and abundant outdoor activity. The campground is about 17 km (11 mi) southwest of Caroline in west-central Alberta and provides more than 70 sites suitable for tents or RVs. There is also a large group camping area. The majority of sites are not serviced, but the water onsite is tested frequently and is suitable to drink (it is not treated with chlorine). The campground provides playground and a convenience store that sells ice, firewood, beach toys and camping staples. Campers can also rent canoes, kayaks, paddle boats and paddle boards. A large sandy beach is perfect for relaxing in the sun after a swim. The lake teems with pike, perch and walleye, making it an angler’s paradise. Burnstick is also popular with paddlers and power boaters. Additional Info: Open from early May until mid-October (weather permitting). Features boat launch, ATV staging area, horseshoe pit, fire pits, and firewood available for purchase. Reservations available but not mandatory by calling (403) 722-3456.
