Burnt Lake campsite #5 is one of several designated backcountry campsites around Burnt Lake in Mount Hood Wilderness, Mt. Hood National Forest. Accessible via Burnt Lake Trail #772, a steep hike from the north trailhead at FR 1825-109 (elevation 2,680 ft) to the lake at 4,120 ft. Features a loop trail around the lake accessing campsites. No toilets, drinking water, or other amenities. Campfires prohibited within 100 feet of the lake. Wilderness restrictions apply. A valid Recreation Pass required at trailhead May 1 to October 31.
