Burnt Lake campsite #4 is one of the designated backcountry campsites around the scenic alpine lake in Mount Hood Wilderness, Mt. Hood National Forest. Accessed via a 3-3.5 mile hike on Burnt Lake Trail #772 from the north trailhead, featuring old-growth forest, views of Mt. Hood, and a loop trail around the lake. No amenities including toilets or drinking water; pack out all waste. Free self-issued wilderness permits required May 15-Oct 15. Trailhead parking $5/vehicle/day May 1-Oct 31.
