About this site

Burnt Lake is a backcountry lake in Mt. Hood National Forest, Oregon, accessible only by hiking the Burnt Lake Trail #772 from trailheads on Forest Roads 1825-109 or 2627-207. A loop trail around the lake provides access to several designated campsites. No vehicle access. Amenities are limited with no toilets or drinking water; pack out all waste. Campfires prohibited within 100 feet of the lake. A valid Recreation Pass required at North Trailhead May 1 to October 31. Wilderness restrictions apply.
