A quiet, serene, very wooded, family-friendly campground nestled in the Buckhorn State Park forest. The sites are exceptionally large, much larger than average camping sites. The campground is completely encompassed by nature, offering a peaceful retreat surrounded by towering trees and wildlife sounds. Additional Info: Nearby attractions include the Necedah National Wildlife Refuge and Castle Rock Lake. Golfing available at Castle Rock Golf Course, 5 miles away. The region experiences temperatures ranging from 20°F in winter to 80°F in summer.
