About this site
Browne Lake Group Site 005 is one of four reservable group sites in Browne Lake Group Sites, Ashley National Forest. Each site accommodates up to 40 people and includes picnic tables and campfire circles. Vault toilets are provided nearby. The site is accessed via a well-maintained dirt road through a high mountain meadow at 8,200 feet elevation, next to Browne Lake for fishing and non-motorized boating. Roads and parking spurs are dirt, with room for 5-6 RVs/trailers. The area offers hiking and ATV trails amid pines, aspens, and summer wildflowers. Additional Info: Group sites are accessible and reservable; single-family sites nearby are first-come, first-served.
