Bridger Jack Designated Campsite
About this site
BLM-designated primitive camping area located on Bridger Jack Mesa in San Juan County, Utah, approximately 18 miles northwest of Monticello. The mesa is bounded by spectacular orange-red cliffs and offers outstanding opportunities for solitude and primitive recreation. Vegetation is predominantly pinyon-juniper woodland with small interspersed sagebrush parks. Multiple designated camping spots are available near the trailhead, some with picnic tables and fire rings. Vault toilet available at trailhead. 14-day camping limit on BLM land. Access via UT-211 and Beef Basin Road from Monticello.
