About this site

Camping along beaches in Brazoria County is free as long as its not within an incorporated city or town. The County operates five beach accesses running from the eastern border of the Town of Surfside, east to Bluewater RV Resort, about a six mile stretch. Camping is allowed inside the town limits of Surfside, but with a fee. Additional Info: No person shall camp on any public beach for a period greater than 14 consecutive days. There is no fee or permit to camp at Follett's Island Beach. April through September, portable toilet units are available for use along beach access points one and two. Small campsite fires are allowed when no burn ban is in effect. All vehicles driven on the beach must be street legal. Pets must be leashed. Glass is prohibited.
