Bottle Bay Campground is an undeveloped camping area within the Idaho Panhandle National Forests, situated in the Pend Oreille Lake region of Bonner County. The site is located near Bottle Bay, a protected inlet on the western shore of Lake Pend Oreille, Idaho's largest lake spanning 148 square miles with 125 miles of shoreline. This no-fee camping area provides primitive recreation opportunities in a forested setting near the lake. Additional Info: Open year-round as an undeveloped camping area with no reservation system. Access conditions may vary seasonally depending on road and weather conditions. The Pend Oreille region offers excellent fishing for kamloops, Dolly Varden, northern pike, trout and catfish, along with numerous water-based recreation opportunities. The area is surrounded by mixed conifer forests.
