Overview Bootleg campground offers solitude and a chance to get away from crowds in shaded Jeffrey Pines. The campground is across highway from West Walker River which has good fishing opportunities. Recreation Facilities Natural Features Campground is at an elevation of 6600 feet. Additional Info: Single and double-family sites with picnic tables, food storage lockers, and campfire rings with grills. Flush toilets, drinking water from hand pump, and trash collection provided. Firewood available for purchase from host. Dogs allowed on leash. First-come, first-served. Seasonal operation late May to mid-September, weather permitting.
