Bolar Mountain Recreation Area Campground 1 is located on Lake Moomaw in the George Washington & Jefferson National Forest near Warm Springs, Virginia. The campground offers a mix of tent and RV sites, many of which are shaded and spacious. Campground 1 has the most electric hookup options among the four campgrounds at Bolar Mountain. Prime sites offer views and direct access to Lake Moomaw, which is ideal for swimming, kayaking, boating, and fishing. The area provides excellent outdoor recreation opportunities with nearby hiking trails. Cell service is limited to none in the area.
